Gold necklace if treated right should last years. So, I’m going to share some tips on how to care for your Gold Necklace.

1.      Make sure to take your necklace off before bathing, because wearing it while bathe can lead to soap buildup that will damage it.

2.      B sure to put on your makeup, perfumes, lotion and hairspray first before putting on your necklace, to limit the exposure.

3.      Make sure to take of your necklace before getting into the pool or spa, as repeated exposure of chlorine will weaken your gold necklace and will eventually lead to breaking.

4.      When worn regularly, the gold necklace is exposed to skin oils, dust, makeup, pollution and so on. So to keep its shine you should clean it regularly with a solution of warm water and dish soap.
