UNAPOLOGETICALLY REPPING AFRICA

 Welcome back to the blog Lovelies! Hope we are all doing well and the summer is already starting off as planned. Remember Vashti? I recently featured her on the blog, just in case you missed that click HERE. Mentioned there was going to be another collaboration of us wearing our native wear. Well, this is the long awaited post; I’m actually wearing this kente (I’m not sure if it’s called that, correct me if I’m wrong) dress from Ghana which my mum got for me from one of her frequent visit there. It’s actually not my country’s native wear but then again it’s a beautiful piece and we are all African right?
I’ve always wanted to wear an African costume for the blog for a very long time; unfortunately I didn’t bring any native wear from back home, only this dress. So, I decided to style this kente dress with my Ghanaian sister also wearing her native wear from Ghana. I styled mine adding a white T-shirt which added a little modern vibe to it, so did Vashti, wearing a pair of black pants which also added a touch of modern vibe to hers as well. Thank you Vashti for joining me on the blog, she never complained throughout the shoot even though her feet were hurting, thank you so much for your time. This is where I’d stop writing, let the pictures speak for itself, do enjoy them and a big thanks to my team.
